As a recipient of the GT Gold, you might be wondering…who are the masterminds behind these awesome newsletters? Well, to answer your question, if you haven't heard of us already, we're the Georgia Tech Young Alumni Council!
About Us- Our Mission and Purpose:
Rolling about 30 members deep, we are comprised of young Georgia Tech alumni from all different majors and concentrations. With a unique council each year, we strive to promote and serve the Institute and graduates from the past ten years. In cooperation with the Alumni Association, we support relevant and meaningful programs and services for young alumni while encouraging lifelong participation and philanthropic support.
Georgia Tech young alumni from across the country come together to develop events and networking opportunities for other recently graduated Yellow Jackets. Now, the young alumni, known as the Young Alumni Council, hope to spread the word about their organization to boost involvement and continue to keep the relationships and experiences gained during college years going strong long into the future.
It is extremely common for young alumni, a couple years removed from college, to be overwhelmed with feelings of nostalgia about their college days. However, most graduates never take the opportunity to get plugged back in to the university they love. The Young Alumni Council reconnects graduates to campus through philanthropic events, service projects, networking opportunities and more...
